School Admin Officer

Natalie

Natalie joined us in May 2022. She organises and supports, not only Becky, but all the staff, parents, families and children in the nursery. She has had a positive impact across the whole organisation and is a joy to work with!

School Support and Training Co-ordinator

Pat

Pat works as a support to the school in every way imaginable and coordinator for the comings and goings of training facilities. Pat also enjoys supporting the children in nursery. She has been working with us since 2001, working previously as caretaker/cleaner/admin and is now very much ‘the mother hen’ looking after the people, the place and the plants!

School Cook

Elaine

Elaine joined the team in September 2017, as nursery cook, preparing delicious, home cooked lunches for our 30hour children. Elaine was originally a parent and has stayed involved in the school ever since. She has embraced the new government nutrition guidance and manages to cook a delicious homemade meal for 60+ children each day.

Kitchen Assistant, Dinner Nanny and Cleaner

Jen

Jen first joined the Wingate family as a cleaner, until she went on maternity to have baby Ozzie. Once Ozzie came to nursery, Jen re-joined the team, working alongside Elaine in the kitchen, preparing and supporting the children with lunches and doing some cleaning alongside Alan. However, in 2024, Jen switched from working in the school building, to work as cook and cleaner at the cottage in the woods - our outdoor nature school.

Housekeeper and Nanny

Kayleigh

Kayleigh was one of our parents, but then offered to help out with cleaning, so was offered a contract to support Alan from time to time. She also stepped into helping the lunchtime crew on occasions, so it came as no surprise to her when we asked her to work with us full time - doing a bit of everything!  She is an absolute star and is incredibly conscientious, willing to help with whatever crops up.

Caretaker, cleaner

Alan

We first met Alan when his little girl, Abbie, was in nursery. As a parent, Alan was instrumental in the development of the nursery allotment, heading up a small team of dads to help get the Lottie ship shape for the children to use every day.

Alan joined us in 2020 and has slotted beautifully into the team, taking great pride in looking after the School and Childcare spaces, working alongside Mandy, our cleaner. Together they take good care of our beautiful building and work with sensitivity to the children’s needs, supporting the role of the educators and the work they do.

Cleaner

Mandy

Mandy works alongside Alan, as part of the cleaning team. We first met Mandy when she brought her little boy, Kieron to nursery. Kieron is a big lad now, but it's lovely to welcome Mandy back in the house! She was appointed in 2023 and is really enjoying her work to help create a beautiful, clean environment.

Cleaner

Laura

Laura is a parent of a child in nursery with us. She is employed as a cleaner at the local secondary school, but is subcontracted out to us for an hour a day to help with cleaning the school. Although not directly employed by us, she's a member of the team and a great cleaner!
