In 2026, Ofsted introduced a new inspection framework and a new way of reporting inspection outcomes. Rather than giving a single overall judgement such as ‘Outstanding’ or ‘Good’, Ofsted now provides a report card which gives parents a much more detailed picture of a school across a range of important areas. Inspectors look at safeguarding, inclusion, curriculum and teaching, achievement, attendance and behaviour, personal development and wellbeing, and leadership and governance. Each area is graded using a new five-point scale: Exceptional, Strong Standard, Expected Standard, Needs Attention or Urgent Improvement. Safeguarding is judged separately as ‘met’ or ‘not met’.

Investors in People

The Investors in People accreditation is something our school has been committed to for many years, holding the silver award until last year, when we progressed to GOLD! We are as proud of this award, as we are the Ofsted outstanding award, because we know that it is our people that make us who we are and what we are today.

Our school is assessed by Investors in Children on an annual basis and continue to hold this award that shows how much value we place on the children's voice and how much our school invest in the children themselves.
